Today I was shocked to read that a Disabled Veteran Owned Business based in Oklahoma has had their bank pull the rug out from under them.  The company is 2 Vets Arms Company, they specialize in custom sporting rifle load-outs, coatings, and engravings.  2 Vets also contributes part of its proceeds to the GallantFew, which is a 501c3 Non-Profit group that helps reduce unemployment, homelessness and eliminate Ranger veteran suicide by a unique program of one-on-one mentoring by a Ranger vet who has successfully integrated back into the civilian world.

2 Vets Arms Co. statement from their page was this:

Well, our business bank just called us to inform us of their new business decision. “In light of the shootings in Conn. we no longer want to be associated with anyone in the firearms industry.” They went on to inform us they are canceling our line of credit/loan for our expansion and dealing a blow to our “American Dream”.

2 Vet Arms Co. was contacted for a statement, but stated they wanted to avoid making statements at this time in hopes to be able sort all this out.

This is the bank information given by 2 Vets Arms Co. as their bank.  I have made several calls today to First Oklahoma informing them that I am writing a piece covering this and asked if they would like to comment.  I was informed by one individual that 2 Vets Arms was never a client at their bank, but a second individual stated that their policies are currently under review, and a third individual informed me that the CEO will have to call be back to clarify all this confusion.

While this bank is being despicable in their treatment on companies because they are in the firearm industry, what hurts the most is the fact they are calling Veterans liars by claiming never to have been associated with them.  Thankfully for 2 Vets Arms Co.’s sake they have letter head from First OK Bank and a video of   loan officer Ty McGinty of First Oklahoma Bank firing their weapons.  This is a further statement from 2 Vets Arms Co. page.

Honesty is what bothers us the most. Denying they have had any contact with us, and attacking our credibility bothers us. They came to our shop, inspected our facility, and even fired our weapons.
