StopTheGunBan.com was founded in July of 2012 in light of the politicization of the Aurora Massacre by Gun Control Advocates such as Hillary Clinton, Michael Bloomberg, and Barack Obama. These individuals, along with the Brady Campaign, have disgustingly taken the tragedy in the movie theater to express and attempt to impose their views on the Second Amendment. The site has also seen a revamp and additional updates in wake of the same reaction to Newtown as the Left takes Rahm’s advice of, “not wasting a good tragedy” seriously.
We are not filed as any type of PAC, Non-Profit, or Charitable Organization. What we are, however, is a resource and gathering point for Conservatives and Liberals alike who are driven by their love of our freedoms, which are protected by the 2nd Amendment. For someone to say they are “for the 2nd Amendment to a degree,” is like your girlfriend saying she is, “a little pregnant.” It’s all or nothing, and our founders have made it clear that in this case, it is for all.
We are not associated with the NRA or any other gun rights organization, however, we view ourselves along with those organizations as what there is between our freedoms and a government willing to remove them. It is a crying shame that our current politicians on the Democratic side would take a tragedy like the shooting in Colorado to try to ban any types of fire arms. Just like the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban caused the collapse of the two house majority for the Left, we aim to make sure they understand any 2012 or 2013 repeat of such actions will cost them the same fate.
While there, at this time, is no bill designed to flat out ban our gun ownership, it is the goal of the Brady bunch as well as the rest of the gun grabbers to pass laws as the time and political climate allows that gradually pick at our rights. Over time, per their own logic, they will have banned guns one law at a time instead of through a flat out ban. We therefore believe that every gun control bill is a bill designed to inevitably take our gun rights away from us, to which our reply can only be “Molon Labe – Come and take them!”
Tell your friends about us, or better yet, spread the word about keeping our freedoms intact. In this age of internet and social media, we are all advocates.
